Humble Beginnings

We got our start in 1983, operating a small Honda dealership out of a corner space in Chandler, Arizona. At a time when the industry was sagging following the collapse of the 3 wheel ATC market, there was much unknown about how a little dealer would survive when losing one of your most popular products relying only on sales & service of lawn gear, garden equipment, generators, and event bicycles.

Eventually, it was decided that we were going to drop all non-Powersports products and focus on the fun; the core of our business. Turns out that was a bold decision that eventually turned out to be a great one. The Powersports industry came back with new and exciting vehicles and we never looked back.

A new building was opened and named Town & Country Motorsports (now known as RideNow Chandler now open just off Loop 202 and Gilbert Road). This building continues to operate as the RideNow Store Support office, communications and distribution plaza since early 2017.

Shortly after, RideNow Powersports (formerly known as the Arizona Motorsports Group) decided the time was right to serve the opposite side of the Phoenix metro valley and opened up their second dealership. Metro Motorcycles in Glendale (now known as RideNow Peoria), was a huge investment for our customer base carrying all the popular product you’ve known to love today. RideNow Peoria has continually grown to become one of the flagship locations for the company serving the west valley off Loop 101 and Thunderbird Road.

The company quickly expanded into a third dealership Tucson Motorsports (now known as RideNow Tucson East) and before long became a collection of numerous dealerships throughout Arizona, we have since grown rapidly and expanded into 11 states, employing over 1,900 exceptional people!

Our staff is the core of our group, we’ve created a lifestyle for our employees, as opposed to just providing part-time jobs at a motorcycle shop. We hire good people and hold them to a very high standard. After all, we are all enthusiasts at the end of the day, most of our staff members ride with the same customers who use us for sales, service, and parts.

Education and training are one of the keys to our success, we are always striving to be the best, most informed and highly knowledgeable in our products, services, industry, and community as a whole. This is an ongoing process and it never ends.

Today, RideNow Powersports is comprised of over 40 full-service dealerships offering ATV’s, Motorcycles, Personal Watercraft, and UTV’s for sale in Arizona, California, Florida, Kansas, Nevada, North Carolina, Texas, Louisiana, Ohio, Oklahoma, and Washington. We stock quality products from trusted manufacturers like Polaris, Can-Am®, Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki, and Yamaha. Our incredible line-up of motorcycles includes bikes from BMW, Triumph, Ducati, Moto Guzzi, Aprilia, and Royal Enfield, as well as specialty dealerships for our legendary Harley-Davidson® and Indian Motorcycles®.
