We have ridden with RideNow together for years now, and as my 63rd blog hits I wanted to reflect on thankfulness and the completion of a major project to share with you.

With a goal of cultural exploration, it takes on a new adventurous meaning when the travel involves going for enjoyment and knowledge in a country the world seems to enjoy fearing. Traveling well beyond just the beautiful landscapes that our two-wheels will take us and into the passions of the people, in their schools, workplace and oh so much more!

I joined a ride that was brought to my attention back at AMA Vintage days in 2016 by Liza Miller. It was an all-women motorcycle expedition of Pakistan that will hold a riding workshop with demos, tips, and support of women riders -empowering them to ride to work, have reliable transportation, and to then, in turn, empower the young girls they see every day. I chronicled this in past Ride Now blogs: Pakistan Part 1 and Moto-Pakistan Part 2, I spoke of the webisode (mini-documentary) that I was creating…and well that day is here.

Danell Lynn PakistanSometimes the delay in the creation after the journey is an adventure in itself. I love doing these inspirational videos and hope to inspire others to live a life outside of their comfort zone. For me this trip took me outside my comfort, not in the way you might think. I was nervous not to travel to Pakistan, but in traveling with 12 other women. A few of the women I knew, a few I knew of, but all I was honored to ride with and to hear their stories of adv riding! Elspeth Beard (I wrote about her in a RideNow Blog) is the first British woman to ride around the world solo, and Ruth Belcher of Global Moto ADV, Liza Miller the organizer of this great ride and the producer/host at Motorcycles and Misfits Podcast…and so many others.

Comfort zones take on many shapes, and although I would not say that my comfort is in film making, I love the end result and am proud of the endless hours to create a short 20 minute documentary. As I learn more about documentaries and creating videos, it is my hope that each video is strong and better than the last. (https://youtu.be/h4hGcAv2kDc)

danell lynn pakistanPakistan for me was a place I found new friendships, old passions, and reminders of the importance that this life is so very short and we must fully live all moments that we are gifted. I am happy to bring this to you so close to Thanksgiving as I am thankful to travel and experience this wide open world.

Thank you for your patience in this long awaited documentary short – webisode. I hope you enjoy it! See you out there on the road adventuring. For more adventures to inspire please visit: www.youtube.com/DanellLynn
