"Outdream Yourself"

I saw this quoted and immediately thought of the relationship of that statement and our inner desires that are filled by being bold, being brave, and ultimately - being you!

This is part of the desire and the freedom on two-wheels, the need to adventure and explore lands and people unlike your own, and it got me thinking about how small the world really is!

Overland expo flagstaffIf you find yourself feeling the world is too large and people think you are nuts from wanting to travel the world by motorcycle... it is okay. You just have not found your people yet! You will be happy to know there are many locations that have your people and one right here in our backyard.

Overland Expo is coming up this May up in Flagstaff, Arizona. I have attended this event for the last six years and find inspiration and joy from attending other adventure motorcyclists talks, and of course adding to my book collection!

The best way to describe this amazing get together is from the horse’s mouth:

"Join us in May outside Flagstaff, Arizona, for the world's most unique event for do-it-yourself adventure travel enthusiasts, with hundreds of session-hours of classes for 4-wheel-drive and adventure motorcycling, inspirational programs, the Overland Film Festival, roundtable discussions, demonstrations, food, and a large expo featuring over 300 vendors of adventure travel equipment, camping gear, bikes, vehicles, and services."

No matter the weather the adventure goes on. We have had windstorms, snow, rain, and perfect weather. Since the new location at the fairgrounds, the winds and mud have dissipated, and the adventurous spirit increased. Hope to see you out there this year!

The nuts and bolts: "Held at Fort Tuthill County Park in beautiful Flagstaff, Arizona, just minutes from historic downtown and the gateway to the Grand Canyon and Four Corners region." - https://www.overlandexpo.com/west
