"Somebody should tell us, right at the start of our lives, that we are dying. Then we might live life to the limit, every minute of every day. Do it! I say. Whatever you want to do, do it now! There are only so many tomorrows." - Pope Paul VI

Now I am not sure when the Pope stated live life to the limit he meant adventure riding...but maybe he did!

For every trip with the element of the unknown, there is always an extra level of excitement when visiting family friends, and they ask if you want to go play on their new toy!

A 2017 Can-am Maverick X3 Max to be exact and of course, we said yes!

Four of us took to the backroads of Utah and did a leisurely ride to the lake, then found a small dirt road to give this baby a test. Each of us took time at the wheel and rode as a passenger, which gave an accurate overview of the machine.

Although going in you just know that you will not be having conversations (these are very loud) but once you are bouncing around and sliding to the edges of roads that overlook the mountain side – the noise just disappears into the background of the adventure.

With dust flying and birds flying you transport into another part of the world.

You are out there in the elements, breathing in the dirt and expounding on the laughter of your passengers. Take it out for a picnic, a day of hunting, so many options so many roads.

There are multiple adjustments to get just the right fit, front and rear seats are equally balanced and offer support and comfort from the ErgoPrint seats, and when you put the gas pedal down be ready for power.

It gets up and goes to say the least...

After the ride we had the reward of big white toothy grins that were framed by our dusty and sweat caked faces- would it be off-road if we stayed clean?

Big thank you to the Bolin family for the adventure in this rally car style vehicle that leaves lots to lust after. Embrace the dirt and enjoy the ride.

-Tip even for the leisurely rides – goggles and headset/ear defenders and for the larger adventure rides helmet of course!
